We are holding our annual Careers Fair in school on Thursday 10th March 2016 in the Savannah Suite, North Block.

The purpose of the Careers Fair is to allow students from Years 11, 12 and 13 to have the opportunity, within the school day, to talk to various representatives from Universities, Training providers, Apprenticeship providers, College providers and employers, about routes into careers and apprenticeships.  If appropriate, students will be able to put their names forward for opportunities. The Careers Fair is also intended to help the students to develop their understanding of progression routes beyond Saint Benedict and some of the job roles that exist.

This year we have decided to extend the opening hours in order that parents and guardians could have the opportunity to attend.

From 3.20 until 5pm students in years 9/10/11/12 and 13 are invited to attend with their parents/guardians.  So far, the following companies are hoping to be there:

CITB, Boots the Chemist,  Webs Furniture training,  Armed Forces,  Loughborough University, DBC Training,  Derby College,  Mercia Training, 3aaa, Rathbone Training,   Derby University, Skillbuild, Rolls Royce,  Interserve Construction, EMA training, Juniper Training, Learning Unlimited, Babington Business College, Captivation Salon, CT Skills                       and Nottingham University School of Nursing.

Thank you, and I look forward to welcoming you to the event,

Yours sincerely
